Work From Home: Wfh, Mental Health Helpline Asked For At Vision 2030 Meets | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Employees’ unions in the state have demanded a work from home (WFH) option, a helpline for mental health, an employee protection bill, and environment-friendly offices in the government departments.
Suggestions and demands by government employees and the public are flooding the meetings the district administrations are holding with public representatives under Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s Vision 2030 programme.
In Ajmer, the food and civil supplies team raised issues such as the adulteration of biodiesel, its transport, and awareness about its use in the Vision 2030 meeting. “The team suggested institutional changes for the wider use of fuel, which can reduce the burden on non-renewable sources of energy. They also pitched for clarity in rules for its transport, and measures to prevent its quality check as part of the vision 2030,” said Ajmer DM Bharti Dixit.
In the next meeting on the vision, the Ajmer DM’s office received complaints and suggestions on issues related to the usage of cooking gas in poor households. “The Ujjwala scheme and the state government’s subsidised LPG scheme have expanded the reach of cooking gas. While cylinders have become cheaper, accessories like regulators and pipes remains unaffordable for many. We were told that in many cases, poor families use water pipes instead of gas pipes. Many suggested offering financial help to these families to buy accessories as well,” said Dixit.
Pali DM Namit Mehta held a three-day workshop on Vision 2030 with different stakeholders.
“Most of them stressed the environment-friendly measures in governance such as paperless offices, provision for better sunlight, pooling of transport systems, and a ban on plastic items in the office,” said Pali district public relations officer (DPRO) Ravi Vaishnav.
