National fitness center chain Planet Fitness has announced an opening date for its next New Jersey gym.
The new 20,300-square-foot location will open at 235 Ridgedale Ave. in Cedar Knolls this December, although an exact date has yet to be announced..
Cedar Knolls’ new Planet Fitness will feature cardio machines, strength equipment, a 30-Minute Express Circuit, rowing machines, locker rooms, massage loungers, massage chairs and tanning booths.
The gym will join businesses like Walmart, McDonald’s and One Dollar Zone in the Cedar Knolls Plaza shopping center.
“We look forward to giving the community an affordable, accessible, and judgement free atmosphere with top-of-the-line cardio and strength equipment in addition to our Black Card Spa amenities,” Brandyn Lorenz, VP of real estate at Grand Fitness, a franchise division of Planet Fitness, said. “We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our Planet Fitness family and help make the Cedar Knolls community happier and healthier.”
Planet Fitness operates more than 70 locations in New Jersey and 2,472 locations worldwide.
