A seasoned executive with a decade of service to Nox Medical, Hjalmarsson will succeed Petur Mar Halldorsson, who previously led the division for the past 10 years and will now join the Nox Health board of directors. Within Nox Medical, Hjalmarsson previously served in various roles with responsibility for product management, marketing, and company strategy. Additionally, he brings nearly two decades of managerial expertise in high-growth industries.
“Nox Health is at an exciting juncture. With the appointment of Ingvar, along with the recent addition of Brigitte Nettesheim from CVS Health as leader of our Enterprise business, we have the team in place to lead the company to our next phase of growth,” says Sigurjon Kristjansson, CEO of Nox Health, in a release. “We are grateful for Petur’s commitment and service to Nox Medical. His leadership and vision helped catapult Nox Medical to international acclaim in sleep diagnostics, and I know he will continue to make meaningful contributions on our board of directors.”
Hjalmarsson adds in the release, “I hold deep respect for the responsibility of succeeding Petur. Yet, when I look at the incredible team at Nox and the opportunities ahead, I feel overwhelming energy and anticipation. We are just beginning this journey.”
According to Halldorsson in the release, “Nox Medical’s growth has been rapid, and the company is now well-positioned to assist medical providers worldwide in delivering care to the millions who need it. I am immensely proud of our accomplishments and delighted to see Ingvar take the reins and lead the way.”
