Parks house open gym, children’s playing enclosure, badminton court, yoga area
Jamshedpur, October 7: Tata Steel UISL takes yet another step towards fostering a healthier and more vibrant community by inaugurating a state-of-the-art Fitness Zone at Uliyan Flats, Kadma, and the Baridih Postal Park-II. This initiative reflects Tata Steel UISL’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of these neighborhoods.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, along with Capt. Dhananjay Mishra, Senior General Manager, Town O&M and RE.

Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, President, Tata Workers’ Union and Raghunath Pandey, President, JUSCO Shramik Union also attended the event as esteemed guests of honor, emphasizing the collaborative efforts to make these fitness zones a reality.

Spanning an impressive area of 5760 sqm, the Fitness Zone at Uliyan Flats, Kadma offers a dedicated fitness area of 2065 sqm. This area is equipped with 15 open gym equipment and 3 pull-up bars, providing ample opportunities for residents to engage in physical exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the Fitness Zone also includes a children’s play area spanning 1450 sqm, featuring slides, swings, see-saws, globes, a crystal maze, an S-bridge ladder, a badminton court, and 14 sitting benches for relaxation and socializing.

Furthermore, Baridih Postal Park, spanning an expansive 5000 square meters, was inaugurated by the dignitaries. This park not only houses a yoga area but also offers open gym facilities, promoting fitness and wellness among residents. Notably, the Baridih Postal Park incorporates a unique environmental aspect by relocating and planting trees from various locations, fostering a sustainable and green environment.
