Regarded as one of the fittest actors in the industry, Roshan’s latest body transformation for his upcoming project Fighter is a testament to his commitment.
The 49-year-old actor recently shared his five-week transformation on Instagram and penned a long note about his workout regimen and motivation. He wrote, “5 weeks. Start to finish. Post vacation to post-shoot. Mission accomplished. Thank you knees, back, ankles, shoulders, and spine and mind. You guys love a good fight. I love you all. Now time to rest and recuperate and begin to find an even better balance.“

Roshan also revealed the hardest part of his five-week transformation. “The hardest part – was saying NO to other important things, loved ones, friends, social occasions, school PTM’s, and even extended work hours. 2nd hardest part – getting into bed by 9 pm,” he added.

The actor’s association with Kris Gethin goes back to 2011 when they collaborated for Krrish. In an exclusive interaction with GQ India, Gethin revealed that Hrithik Roshan works out five days a week, usually for 45-60 minutes per session with two days on and one day off. He said, “We focus on two body parts in each session, like the back and biceps, chest and triceps, or shoulders and abs. He also focuses on completing a minimum of 10,000 steps every day on top of his cardio. He does some form of cardio every single day for about 40 minutes, be it hitting the beach for a jog or a swim. We change it all the time because we don’t want the body to adapt and the workout to become boring and monotonous.“
