Kozhikode: A Civil Police Officer was found hanging near the Kuttiady Police Station on Monday evening. The deceased has been identified as Sudheesh.
Sudheesh was on duty at the time of the incident. He went missing at around 11 a.m. Later, the body was found hanging on the top floor of a building near the police station.
The family attributes Sudheesh’s death to mental stress and has raised doubts regarding his missing mobile phone.
The locals stopped the ambulance from carrying his body after RDO officials failed to appear for inquest proceedings. Later, the ambulance was allowed to go by Monday night.
