Stress-Relief Drink Recipe
As per instructions provided by Dr Chaudhary, you will require one tablespoon of jujube powder and basil seeds each to make this drink, both of which can be easily purchased from a, ayurvedic dispensary, local market, and online stores. To make this drink at home simply following these instructions:
- Start by soaking the basil seeds in a glass of water for about 15-20 minutes. They will swell and become gel-like.
- In a separate bowl, mix the jujube powder or paste with a little water to create a smooth, thick consistency.
- Combine the jujube mixture with the soaked basil seeds, and add it to a glass of water. Add honey or jaggery if you prefer a sweeter taste.
- If you’d like to enhance the flavour, you can sprinkle a pinch of cardamom powder into the mix.
- Stir well and enjoy your stress-relief drink.
