Popular New Zealand fitness influencer and mother of five, Raechelle Chase, has died suddenly.
The model’s oldest daughter Anna Chase confirmed her death in a touching statement, News.com.au reported.
“She was supportive, kind-hearted and always had the best advice for us,” she wrote. “She was a wildly driven woman with ambition and has inspired millions of people around the world. I miss her immensely and that love won’t ever fade.”
As of yet, Raechelle’s cause of death has not yet been revealed and is currently under investigation by the New Zealand police.
Before her passing, the bodybuilder and exercise coach had amassed over 1.4 million followers on Facebook.
Raechelle frequently posted workout tips, inspirational quotes and shots of her well-sculpted body.
In her final post before her death, the professional fitness model posted a pic from a photo shoot for the cover of Oxygen Magazine — one of over 14 covers she appeared on during her career, PerthNow reported.
She also notably competed in a 2011 Olympia bodybuilding event back in Las Vegas, becoming the first Kiwi woman to do so, Stuff.com reported.
Friends and fans were devastated over Raechelle’s loss.
“Not going to lie, very few things in my life hit me as hard as your passing,” wrote bereaved buddy Keith O’Connell earlier this month. “You had so much left to live. So much love to give.”
He described the late social media star as one of the “kindest beautiful souls” he ever met.
The New Zealander is survived by five children, two of whom are twins.
The late fitness model also had a husband, Chris Chase, who she was married to for 14 years until their divorce in February 2015.
Chris was later jailed for ten years after being arrested for dealing a drug similar to MDMA.
A year after their split, Raechelle penned a piece for Stuff in which she described her “toxic” post-separation relationship and warned others to leave abusive partners for the sake of the children.
“If you know you are in an abusive relationship and you don’t have the courage to leave, do it for your children,” she wrote. “Grab hold of whatever you need long enough to survive crawling out of that hole because I promise you it will be worth it.”
