A fitness influencer’s post on X, formerly Twitter, about his dislike for the North Indian delicacy chole bhature and how many people prefer having it for breakfast despite it being oily and loaded with carbs didn’t go down well with netizens and triggered a debate.
Chirag Barjatya, who is a founder of a company that provides online fitness coaching, was reacting to a woman’s tweet about liking chole bhature. Anu (@Escapeplace__) shared a photo of a plate of chole bhature and wrote, “Tell me a better breakfast than this.” Reacting to this tweet, Barjatya posted, “I will never understand how can people eat this tala bhuna highly salted no protein meal first thing in the morning.”

While Barjatya’s post has received more than 2,300 likes, it hasn’t gone down well with many netizens.
“They don’t do it everyday. Atleast I don’t. I ate this once or twice In a year and that is okay. What’s the use of working out everyday if you can’t have this once a year. Don’t indulge or binge. That’s my take. And everything in moderation is fine,” a user commented.

I think we are taking health issue too far and at extremes. No one eats it everyday. If one eats very very ocassionally let’s not be judgmental. May be once is six months.

I really don’t understand how people excel in not minding their own business.
If you don’t like it, don’t eat. What’s there to highlight what others like or not.
