“When it comes to Tiger’s lower body routine, it is completely tailored for speed, explosiveness and strength,” said Dhole.
He also mentioned that Tiger does a lot of single-leg exercises to promote balance and stability.
“Structural compound exercises for strength but never reach or try to reach failure,” said Tiger.
Creating a lower body workout that is optimal for you will depend on your personal fitness objectives, such as increasing strength, building muscle, improving flexibility, or improving endurance.
Apart from aesthetic reasons, from a physiological point of view, lower body exercises engage important muscle groups which will improve one’s normal movement throughout the day, emphasised fitness trainer Garima Goyal. “Generally focused muscle groups include hips, glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, and core. They help in improving stability and resistance,” she described.
When it comes to lower body workouts, there is no one particular ideal routine. The workout may depend on the individual’s goals and what they want to achieve.
Commonly followed routines include compound exercises, isolation exercises, and lunges.
